| perhaps there was residual oil or water left in the exhaust from before. It's always a good idea to use new head bolts on a rebuild ESPECIALLY a TT motor. If your head gasket isn't blown but your coolant level keeps dropping then either: 1 your coolant system wasn't completely bled 2 your overflow cap is letting coolant into the reservoir 3 you have a small leak somewhere
